Runners: Combat repetitive patterning with the Kaiut Method

One of the biggest challenges for runners when it comes to injuries is that their body has become specialized. The repetitive movement has reinforced a single movement pattern in the system which starts to limit the variety that the body naturally craves in order to stay fully vibrant and healthy.

Greetings to all our running Boulder athlete friends- whether serious or recreational.

We want to see you running healthy- however serious you may be.

Yes, running feels good. There’s a sense of freedom and accomplishment that goes with running that’s like no other. Yeh, it only takes minimal clothing and running shoes. It’s you and the elements…traveling through beautiful mountain terrain or your favorite morning runs on the alleys and backstreets of Boulder.

If you’ve been a runner for awhile, you also know the eventual restrictions that come from running. The repetitive movements involved with running often lead to pain and overuse injuries like plantar fasciitis, IT band syndrome, runner’s knee, Achilles tendonitis and generalized back pain.

At Kaiut Yoga Boulder, we can help runners- like you- stay healthy.

One of the biggest challenges for runners when it comes to injuries is that their body has become specialized. The repetitive movement has reinforced a single movement pattern in the system which starts to limit the variety that the body naturally craves in order to stay fully vibrant and healthy.

One runner in our Kaiut classes remarked,
“I thought I would have to see a bodyworker to relieve the pain in my foot. I’m psyched to say that after 3 weeks of consistent classes, my plantar fasciitis is improving.”

By focusing on joints, Kaiut Yoga increases mobility and tone. When the joints have their full range of motion, circulation improves, lymphatic flow improves and all fluid systems in and around the joints improve. As the joints start moving (as they were designed to do), the runners’ body has the chance to heal those nagging injuries that don’t seem to go away on their own.

At Kaiut Yoga Boulder we want to see you having fun at the Bolder Boulder and exploring those mountain trails this summer.

Here’s to your health-

Craig, Darvin and Kristin
