Today we’d like to introduce you to Francisco Kaiut.
It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?
I’m a yoga teacher passionate about the transformative power of a consistent yoga practice in people’s lives. When I was a child, I was shot in the hip and this resulted in a lot of pain. Searching for a way to heal from the chronic pain and discomfort, I found myself immersed in the universe of yoga, chiropractic and natural therapies. After decades of consistent practice, a lot of research, and passionate work, I developed a unique yoga method. It helped not only myself, but became a tool that thousands of people around the world used to deal with chronic pain, anxiety, depression, mobility problems and ultimately achieving longevity. I realized that traditional yoga methods were not very effective anymore because they didn’t take into consideration a crucial factor: our social evolution. Our bodies and their use have changed a lot throughout history, so it became impossible to use classic yoga poses without harming ourselves. I saw a lot of yogis, both students and teachers, injured and frustrated, losing mobility, which is exactly the opposite of what yoga should bring. The Kaiut Yoga Method was born out of this scenario. It’s the translation of ancient yoga for the modern human being. Classic poses are adapted not randomly but by taking into consideration our social evolution and our current body use. In this way, the method ensures that yoga is an accessible and effective tool for everybody and every body type. Sharing this method is what brought me here today.
